DestiNY USA, located in Syracuse, NY is a planned 70 million square foot retail and entertainment complex which includes malls, hotels, condominiums and speculative office space. With a goal to be powered with 100% fossil free energy, using 50% less energy than average, and recycling 100% of used water, the project will be a showcase for the world’s most advanced technologies. Paladino and Company provided sustainable strategy and concept development, as well as technical and feasibility analysis and total cost of ownership studies. Phase One is currently  under construction, which includes an 848,000 square foot expansion of the existing mall.
