Paladino Client Marriott Accelerates Green Hotel Development
Marriott International, Inc announced that it will expand its green hotel portfolio ten-fold over the next five years by introducing a green hotel prototype that will be pre-certified as part of the LEED Volume Certification pilot program. - Leveraging successful green design strategies to achieve cost-effective LEED certification throughout the portfolio and developing the LEED Volume Certification Program as part of Marriott’s participation in the USGBC sponsored pilot program
- Establishing training modules, quality control and education plans, communications materials, decision filters and tools for use by franchisee design teams
- Defining the portfolio commissioning process for a franchisee structure
