Tom Paladino Elected to U.S. Green Building Council Board of Directors

Seattle, WA – March 19, 2003 – Tom Paladino, president of Paladino & Company, an industry leading green building consulting firm, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The Council is the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders across the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.

Paladino, who co-founded his firm in 1994, was a significant contributor to the development of the LEED Green Building Rating SystemTM. Paladino is also a member of the USGBC’s LEEDTM Steering Committee. As a past chair of the Seattle AIA Committee on the Environment, Paladino helped found the City of Seattle Sustainable Building Task Force. Paladino holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington and a B.S. of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
