As Green Building Engineering Group Lead, you will:

·       Build the business through direct interaction with current and prospective clients

Qualifications & Experience

A degree in engineering, or allied field

  • 15+ years professional experience, with clear progressive advancement in engineering team management:
    • 8+ years professional registration
    • 8+ years project management experience, leading teams and serving clients profitably
    • 5+ years line of business management with revenue/profit responsibility
    • 2+ years LEED experience, including demonstrated LEED-EB successes
    • Facilities maintenance and operations background or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of high performance buildings with direct experience in:
    • Building science: MEP and/or civil design for active/passive/hybrid systems; envelope/façade development; displacement ventilation /UFAD systems; control sequences 
    • Environmental quality: daylighting, air quality, acoustics, human ecology, ventilation effectiveness
    • Renewable energy: on-site solar, PV, wind, geo-thermal for building and campus projects
    • Facilities operations and maintenance: existing building or campus O&M; monitoring, verification/evaluation of building performance; continuous improvement processes, DSM, commissioning
  • Strong writing skills and technical presentation ability
  • Proficient user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • MBA / business experience preferred but not required

ASSOCIATE BUILDING SCIENCE TECHNOLOGIST

The primary focus of this position is technical and feasibility analysis support to green building consulting project teams. The successful candidate shall demonstrate the ability to work under guided supervision and work well with diverse groups and interests. Project work entails execution of directed research and analytical activities, preparation of technical reports and presentations.  This position offers growth potential. Modest travel is expected.

 

As a Building Science Technologist you will:

·         Perform technical analysis in support of project teams including: calculations that support proof of concept, energy and daylighting simulations, water balance modeling, materials recommendations and drawing and specification review, etc.

·         Author technical reports, create presentations and other client facing memoranda on sustainability topics including concept exploration and development, definition of the basis of design, sequences of operation and setting design criteria

·         Provide building design and construction assistance to project teams

·         Prepare and submit LEED documentation to the U.S. Green Building Council

 

Qualifications & Experience

·         A degree in engineering, architecture or allied field.

·         Experience in whole building design, including technical evaluation as demonstrated by either:

·         2 to 3 years professional experience with demonstrated progression in building design with an emphasis on green building, or

·         An advanced degree in engineering, architecture or allied field with a focus on green building, energy or building science, and with practical experience gained through internships, fellowships, or similar on-the-job training

·         Experience developing and implementing sustainability concepts and strategies as demonstrated through actual project or program work

·         LEED Accredited Professional or LEED project experience preferred

·         Strong writing skills and technical presentation ability

·         Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of graphic and layout software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, InDesign etc.)

GREEN BUILDING COMMISSIONING AGENT

 

Position OverviewPRINT A DETAILED JOB POSTING

The primary focus of this role is analysis and task management across all technical areas related to building systems performance and commissioning.

 

As Green Building Commissioning Agent, you will:

 

·         Provide consulting advisory to building owners and project teams with respect to building systems engineering and performance including energy efficiency, Mechanical, Engineering and Plumbing, Measurement and Verification and building systems commissioning review, planning and functional testing

·         Provide technical support to project teams for building systems related issues

·         Help standardize best practice with respect to key technical deliverables related to building systems commissioning

·         Develop commissioning, MEP, M&V and functional testing plans in support of project team efforts using Paladino and Companys standard best practice methods

·         Participate in project pursuit process and client sales engagement related to commissioning efforts

·         Collaborate with project teams to identify and create new service offerings

 

The successful candidate shall demonstrate strong building systems and green building expertise gained through directly relevant project experience and education, and the ability to work with diverse groups and interests. 40% travel is expected.

 

Qualifications & Experience

·         5-7 years consulting to client building owners and design teams for buildings systems technical issues including design review, MEP, M&V and commissioning for both new and existing buildings

·         5+ years experience in sustainable design/green building engineering working with building systems controls, design, installation and programming

·         Superior analytical skills and the ability to present complex technical information to audiences with varying degrees of technical skill

·         A degree in mechanical engineering with professional engineering license, LEED accredited professional, and commissioning agent certification

·         Five or more years demonstrated progressive advancement and success in applying advanced technical intervention on green building projects including:

o         4+ years professional registration

o         4+ years project management experience, leading teams and serving clients profitably

o         3+ years LEED experience, including demonstrated LEED rated project involvement

·         Knowledge of high performance building systems commissioning and controls including:

As Green Building Technical Director, you will:
