Green building design is a technical discipline that requires intellectual and analytical rigor to surface feasible, opportunistic, sustainable design strategies. Paladino’s role is to faciliate a restructuring of the conventional design and construction process in a way that allows the owner and design team members to work together towards an integrated sustainable design solution.  

Through strong and direct engagement with owners, Paladino’s building and portfolio transformation services help drive design and management teams towards enhanced performance of individual building projects and portfolio programs, delivering creative strategies validated by rigorous technical and financial analytics.

Paladino and the LEED® Green Building Rating System

Paladino has been engaged with the U.S. Green Building Council and the LEED® green building rating system since its inception. We invented the LEED® Reference Guide, directed the first LEED® Pilot Program, and have reviewed more than 500 certified projects to date as part of a technical contract with the USGBC. We continue a strong relationship with the U.S. Green Building Council and other market leading organizations with altruistic missions to transform the way buildings are design and constructed, expertly applying rating systems as appropriate to the goals of the project and owner.
