Divya Natarajan

LEED AP ID+C, O+M, WELL AP, Senior Project Manager

Divya’s combined background in architecture, sustainability and business gives her a holistic perspective on green building issues that she uses to help clients create green building strategies that benefit occupants, save resources and reduce operating costs. Since joining Paladino, Divya has worked on over 7.5 million square feet of LEED certified projects.

Divya primarily focuses on hospitality and high performance buildings. She guides in-depth research on technical and operational issues to analyze feasibility and identify sustainability strategies. She has worked with teams to facilitate eco-charrettes and design discussions to define project goals and performance requirements.

Divya is managing multiple hospitality projects, helping developers enhance the value of their project through sustainability and integrated design. She has worked with teams from conceptualizing brand standards to developing a holistic sustainability strategy and identifying key performance requirements to implementation and third party validation. She also has experience in creating sustainability audits and reporting, especially in hospitality.

Divya earned her Master of Science in Sustainable Design Studies from Cornell University. Her graduate work focused on research, specifically on designing user experience. Her Master’s thesis studied the factors that affect peoples’ attitudes and relationship with the environment and how to promote sustainability through design.
