Brad provides technical design support to development teams in prioritizing, selecting and implementing sustainable strategies.
Brad leads the Building Science Team, managing a staff of architects, engineers, commissioning agents and construction specialists. Brad leverages the diverse expertise and perspectives of his team members to deliver market engagement strategies for his clients. Through rigorous technical analysis, Brad helps building owners, operators and developers optimize various sustainable strategies and high performance systems organized around the Triple Bottom Line.
Brad has assisted many of Paladino’s public clients in a variety of capacities, including serving as the project manager for the Sustainability Master Plan for the Centre City Development Corporation of downtown San Diego. The output of the project is a set of measurable sustainability indicators from which detailed revisions to the city’s Community Plan, Planned District Ordinance and Green Building Guidelines are being developed.
Brad serves on Paladino and Company’s technical consulting team to the U.S. Green Building Council, conducting LEED Application reviews for a variety of project types and sizes. He has also helped the USGBC develop their LEED Portfolio Program, which is structured towards supporting building owners with large and diverse project portfolios. Additionally, Brad was elected to the LEED Implementation Advisory Committee in January of 2010.
