Bio

Jason's background comes from a wide variety of education and experience in construction management, architectural design, alternative energy systems, building science, and sustainable development. He supports project teams in the areas of design and construction, offering teams the tools to facilitate successful implementation of sustainable design strategies. In addition, Jason serves on Paladino's technical consulting team to the U.S. Green Building Council, supporting LEED Application reviews for a variety of project types and sizes.

Prior to joining Paladino, Jason worked for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. During his two years there he worked as a project engineer providing on-site project management, design and constructability reviews, construction estimating, and sustainable construction methods and material research. While at Whiting-Turner he became part of their green building construction team focusing on integrating sustainable construction and design on projects such as the N.C. Botanical Garden Visitor Education Center (LEED Platinum goal) and the Dell Computer manufacturing facility (Design-Build), a 757,000 square foot project that achieved substantial completion in only five months time.
