Bio
- Bio
With a background in ecology, environmental science, information management and policy, Steve brings a unique perspective to the firm. He uses his project and facility management experience in a variety of settings including greening operations for existing buildings and managing volume commissioning projects. He also has advanced training in dynamic facilitation and conflict resolution and utilizes his experience working with diverse stakeholder groups to help clients collaborate to deliver sustainable integrated designs.
Steve has worked with building owners including PNC, Vornado, The Molasky Group, Las Vegas Valley Water District, Hines, and the University of Washington to develop sustainable project strategies for new and existing buildings. He also collaborates with an internal Paladino team to provide commissioning services for multiple volume retail projects such as Bank of America, HSBC Bank and a number of one-off projects including Molasky Corporate Center and the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument.
Steve uses his educational experience to train architecture, engineering and construction professionals on sustainability topics, serving as a co-instructor teaching Certifying Bodies how to perform LEED reviews on behalf of the USGBC. He is also a regular instructor for Associate General Contractors of Washington’s “Managing a LEED Job” trainings.
Steve’s graduate work focused on policy incentives for green roofs and stormwater management in the Puget Sound region, serving as project coordinator for an EPA-funded initiative that researched decision-making support software for green roof procurers.
