Hawkins provides sustainable project management services for clients seeking green building certification across all LEED rating system designations. He manages, facilitates and administers the LEED certification process of large scale commercial and residential building developments throughout both design and construction. His impact can also be seen in the tenant interior market where he has directly managed an abundance of LEED Commercial Interiors (CI) certifications, as well as guided teams through the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) – District of Columbia (DC) Green Code. Over his 7 years in the green building industry, he has impacted roughly 17.4 million square feet of green space by providing dedicated service to general contractors and design teams alike to support the successful delivery of a green building. With his knowledge of LEED design administration and construction management integration, Hawkins supports a streamlined and successful LEED certification process.
Early in Hawkins’ career, he worked for a commercial and real estate investment firm, coordinating property management account activities and conducting property research and analysis. Prior to joining Paladino, he served as the sole manager of sustainable construction for a billion dollar nationwide general contracting firm where he attained vast knowledge of construction processes and administration.
